Korea hasn’t been in the tournament since 2016 and is hoping their return will be good. First, they will look to take care of Argentina and get a big win in their first match.

Korea qualified for the tournament by winning the Women’s Asian Cup. It went 2-1-0 in the group stage and then beat South Korea 3-0 in the semifinals and Japan in the finals 2-1 to qualify . It was a huge win for Korea and it will look to keep up the momentum in the World Cup.

Argentina didn’t play as well in its qualifying tournament, but still did enough to earn a berth into the World Cup. It finished fourth in the final stage of the South American Women’s Football Championship.

Argentina finished behind Brazil, Paraguay and Colombia, but was one point up on Venezuela in the final standings.
