On paper, Finland is the clear favorite here. While the team has just two wins to two normal losses and one overtime loss so far in this tournament, it’s made the most of those wins, posting a goal differential of +7. Denmark, meanwhile, has two wins and four losses and sits at -12 in goal differential.
Denmark was drubbed by Switzerland last time out, with the Danish team losing 8-0 in the contest. The side just couldn’t find any offense in the loss.
Meanwhile, Finland is coming off of a 5-3 loss to Canada. Jesse Puljujärvi scored a pair of goals in the loss. Finland has lost its past two contests, with its last win in the competition coming back on May 13 with a 4-1 win over Norway.
