Canada looks to stay unbeaten at the IIHF World Championships on Sunday when it takes on Switzerland
Canada battles Switzerland on Sunday afternoon in the IIhF World Championships. The Canadian team comes into Saturday a perfect 5-0 in the tournament and tied with Switzerland for second place in Group A. Both teams are a point back of Czechia who has played one more game. The Canadians have scored at least four goals in every game and is coming off a 5-3 win over Finland on Saturday. The Finnish team gave them a battle and were tied with them after two periods, but Brandon Hagel and Dawson Mercer both scored in the third period to give them the win.

The Swiss team also comes into Saturday undefeated during the tournament. They have had a couple of close calls, though.
They barely slipped by Austria winning 6-5 and then needed overtime to beat Czechia 2-1 in their third game of the tournament.
They had little trouble in their last game against Denmark, though, as they won 8-0. They dominated the Danish team to move to 5-0 in the tournament.
The winner of Sunday’s game will take control of Group A and will need to just one more win to clinch the top spot in the group stage.
