The Olympic handball competitions begin with the group stages at South Paris Arena 6. The 12 women’s teams will compete in two groups of six in the preliminary rounds, as they attempt to qualify for the knockout phase, which will take place at the Pierre-Mauroy Stadium in Lille.
France will be looking for a repeat of its historical double triumph at Tokyo 2020, where Les Bleus were crowned Olympic champions in both the men’s and women’s tournaments. But this time, it would be even sweeter on home soil.
