The action in the competition continued with eight matches on Monday in the ongoing quest of 35 nations fighting for the eight Concacaf berths at the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup. Groups D, F, G and H began play with their first matches in the tournament, where Honduras and the United States started their joint-record 20th appearance in the final round. Chase Adams rose to the top of the scorer’s table following the first matchday with 10 goals in the U.S.’s lopsided victory.

In Group G action, the Dominican Republic took a 1-0 victory against Aruba at Estadio Rommel Fernández in Panama City, Panama. 

Ismahel Saidani scored the lone goal in the 20th minute of the match, striking a left-footed finish in the penalty area to connect with a pass from Luís Elián López.

Meanwhile, Grenada fell in an 8-0 thrashing against host nation Panama, also at Rommel Fernández Stadium.

Gerson Gordón placed the home side in front in the sixth minute before Estevis López would extend the lead in the 16th. Then, Mikel Prado scored the third goal for Panama in the 34th minute to begin his tally on the day.

Los Canaleros increased their lead before halftime with goals from Joseph Pacheco in the 44th and Abraham Altamirano from the penalty spot in the 47th minute.

Furthermore, Adrian Olivardía opened his account in the 80th minute with a penalty kick conversion of his own. Finally, Prado completed his hat-trick with goals in the 83rd and 93rd minutes of the match.
