The 2025 Concacaf qualifiers will continue on Saturday with a game between the Trinidad & Tobago vs Honduras at Ato Boldon Stadium in Couva, Trinidad and Tobago in Group B play. Joining Trinidad & Tobago and Honduras in Group B are Belize and the U.S. Virgin Islands. This year’s qualifying rules have changed. The new Concacaf U-17 Women’s Qualifiers will consist of two rounds, with the four highest-ranked participating Concacaf Member Associations receiving a bye to the Final Round. This year, Canada, Haiti, Mexico and the United States are the four nations which have received byes to the Final Round. After round-robin play, the six group winners and the two best second-place finishers will advance to the Final Round, joining the four top-ranked teams.

The Final Round will also be played in a group format, consisting of three groups of four teams each. After round-robin play in the Final Round, the three group winners and the best second-place finisher will qualify for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.

Trinidad & Tobago lead the Group B standings with a 2-0-0 record so far for a total of six points. Honduras is sitting right behind them, also with a record of 2-0-0 and six points, but Trinidad & Tobago have scored one more goal than Honduras. Trinidad & Tobago opened qualifiers with a 5-0 win over the U.S. Virgin Islands before beating Belize 2-0 on Wednesday. Honduras opened play against Belize, also beating them 2-0, but only beat the U.S. Virgin Islands 4-0 on Wednesday.

While both teams will be advancing to the Final Round, they will be trying to claim that top spot in the Group B standings with a win on Saturday night. Tune in to see who wins the group.
