This event started earlier this year and continues this weekend with 11 more medal events preceded by a heat in the men’s 400-meter medley. Once the field is set for the men’s 400-meter medley, the finals kickoff a run of 11 finals in the water. The rest of the day features men’s finals in the 50-meter butterfly, 100-meter backstroke,200-meter breaststroke, and the 200-meter freestyle. The rest of the day features six women’s finals to close out the weekend.

Those events include the 800-meter freestyle, 100-meter butterfly, 200-meter backstroke, 50-meter breaststroke, 100-meter freestyle and the 200-meter medley. Each of those will see medals earned and world champions crowned.

Regan Smith also set records with the fastest time by an American as well in the 200-meter butterfly. She did so while upsetting local favorite and former record holder Alex Shackell.

Walsh, Smith, and Kate Douglas will be favorites to win the overall Swimming World Cup crown in the 2025 World Aquatics Swimming World Cup.
