Texas Tech, the No. 9 ranked men’s college basketball team in the nation, will travel west to Tempe, Arizona, for a season finalé game in the Big 12 Conference. On Saturday night, it will face Arizona State at the Desert Financial Arena. The Red Raiders have been on a roller coaster in the last two weeks of the season, in highs of beating Kansas and lows of losing to TCU. They are 23-7 overall this season, boasting the second-best record in the conference with a 14-5 record against Big 12 Conference teams.

They are tied with No. 24 Arizona and four games behind the conference-leading No. 3 ranked Houston, who has only lost one conference game this season. Texas Tech is looking to sweep its three games in March after taking down Colorado by 16 points and Kansas on the road by five points. JT Toppins has been playing some of his best basketball lately, averaging 17.3 points and 9.0 rebounds per game.

The Sun Devils are 13-17 this season and are on the outside looking in for the NCAA Tournament. They are in need of a miraculous run in the Big 12 Championship and a win to get an automatic bid from the conference. They are 4-15 overall this season in the conference, with a two-game lead over Colorado, the last-ranked team in the Big 12.
