Sunday is the final day of the Chicago Open, an AVP beach volleyball event taking place at Oak Street Beach. On the women’ side, the winner of the Kloth/Nuss vs Cheng/Hughes semifinal will head to the final to take on the winner of the Rodriguez/Urango and Humana-Paredes/Wilkerson semifinal. On the men’s bracket, the final will come down to the winner of Budinger/Evans vs Crabb/Sanders and the winner of Bomgren/Field vs Benesh/Partain. Who will take the titles at the Chicago Open?

Earlier this year, the men’s duo of Partain and Benesh made the quarterfinals at the Olympics. The Evans and Budinger duo lost in the Round of 16. Budinger is former NBA player Chase Budinger, who has switched over to the volleyball world for the next stage of his athletic career.
On the women’s side, Hughes and Cheng made the quarterfinals and Nuss?Kloth lost in the Round of 16.
