The cadence of this tournament has three days of round-robin days on the course with the golfers going head-to-head to build up their record and make it to the fourth day, where the knockouts begin.
After the knockouts on Saturday, the championship round between the top players will take place on Sunday.
The morning starts with Jeongeun Lee taking on Maude-Aimee Leblanc and continues through to the last match that tees off between Matilda Castren challenged by Sarah Schmelzel.
Not all of the best players in the world are in this event with Jin Young Ko and Nelly Korda both not in the field, but there are several talented golfers participating.
Danielle Kang, Minjee Lee, Madelene Sagstrom, Nanna Koerstz Madsen, Atthaya Thitkul and many others are in action.
This year’s event features 64 golfers at the start, paired with a seed between one and 16, with two pairs per seed to set up round-robin matches. Today is just the start of the action, which should be full of fun as gimmick golf like this is some of the most fun.
