Top-seeded USC starts its journey for a fifth Pac-12 Championship in college beach volleyball on Wednesday.

Heading into the Pac-12 Championship in college beach volleyball top-seeded USC is looking to continue its domination of the sport. Since the tournament was introduced the Trojans have won four of the seven championships. The Trojans won the first two tournaments in 2016 and 2017, then added two more in 2019 and 2022 to remain the class of the sport in the Pac-12. They will take on ninth-seeded Utah, who won 3-1 earlier today against Oregon.

During the regular season the Trojans won 29 of their 33 matches to earn the top spot in the national rankings. All four of their losses came against top 10 ranked teams with two of those losses coming to second-seeded UCLA, who were ranked second and first in the country during the matches.

The Trojans played one match during the regular season against Utah, winning easily. Against the Utes the Trojans won 5-0, going undefeated in sets and winning seven of the 10 games by at least eight points.
