The 2025 BIG3 Basketball season heads into week two in Baltimore led by legends Dwight Howard and Joe Johnson.

It was a good start to the 2025 BIG3 Basketball season for three of the four new franchises. The Detroit Amps, Houston Rig Hands and Miami 305 all picked up their first wins. This week, there are eight games on the schedule with two of the new franchises facing off and four winless teams all looking for their first wins of the season. Detroit faces off with Miami in an early-season matchup of undefeated teams and two brand-new franchises. Michael Beasley led Miami to a win with 21 points in the season opener. For Detroit, Joe “Iso Joe” Johnson led the charge with 30 points and 10 rebounds in the debut win.

Dwight Howard made his debut for the LA Riot in a loss, finishing with 10 points and seven rebounds. The three-time Defensive Player of the Year helped LA build a small lead at the half, but watched that lead slip away in the second half in a 50-44 loss.

Also on the schedule in week two is Houston who look to remain undefeated against the Chicago Triplets. NBA veteran Corey Brewer led the way for Houston with 17 points and 12 rebounds in the season-opening win.

The fourth game of the week features two teams looking for their first win of the season. The DMV Trilogy and Boston Ball Hogs both lost in week one by a combined six points. Earl Clark led DMV with 19 points in the four-point loss, while Chris Johnson scored 23 points in Boston’s thrilling two-point loss.
