Hall of Famer Dwight Howard and UConn legend Kemba Walker make their BIG3 Basketball debut to kick off the 2025 season in Chicago.

The 2025 season of BIG3 Basketball welcomes in more big names and former NBA players to the most exciting professional 3×3 basketball league. This season Dwight Howard makes his BIG3 Basketball debut in Chicago as a member of the LA Riot. Howard was recently named to the basketball hall of fame after an 18 year career that included winning Defensive Player of the Year three times and winning the 2020 NBA Championship. Also joining the BIG3 this year is Kemba Walker as a part of the Chicago Triplets. The first day of the new season features four games starting with Howard’s debut against the Miami 305 and Walker’s debut at home in Chicago against the Detroit Amps.

The Houston Rig Hands take on the DMV Trilogy and the Boston Ball Hogs face off with the Dallas Power to round out the schedule to kick off the 2025 BIG3 Basketball season.

Howard is joined by Wesley Johnson in Los Angeles as a part of the all new franchise in the BIG3. Nick Young leads the way as Los Angeles’ head coach with Jordan Crawford, Jeff Teague and Elijah Stewart rounding out the roster.

Chicago is led by head coach Julius Erving. The hall of famer has a loaded roster around Walker with Jason Richardson, Montrezl Harrell, Amir Johnson and Chris Allen. This season the BIG3 enters a new era with four new franchises entering the fold along with Miami and Houston.
