Lightweights Ruben Warr and Bovar Khanakov headline the card at Thunder Studio for BKFC Fight Night: Los Angeles

Ruben Warr (2-1) faces a test from Bovar Khanakov (4-3) in the lightweight main event Saturday night at BKFC Fight Night: Los Angeles. The bout headlines a 10-fight card of fights set for five two-minute rounds. Warr comes off a quick victory over Robbie Peralta at BKFC Fight Night: Temecula on July 12, ending the bout via punches just six seconds into the fight. Khanakov has lost his last two times out, including a TKO at the end of the third round on Feb. 16 at the hands of James Brown at the BKFC Prospect Series event in Manassas, Virginia.

The co-main event features heavyweight Lavar Johnson (2-0) making his BKFC debut against Rashad Coulter (2-1). Johnson’s last bare-knuckle bout was a first-round TKO via punches 1:21 into the fight over Travis Wiuff at VBK 2 in Jacksonville, Florida, on Oct. 27, 2023. Coulter was stopped in the first round by a left hook against DJ Linderman at BYB 21 in Rock Hill, South Carolina, on Oct. 21, 2023.

The night’s featured fight is in the cruiserweight division with Keith Richardson (2-0) taking on Brandon Conley (1-0). Richardson beat Cody Vidal after two rounds via doctor’s stoppage at BFKC Knuckle Mania 4 in Los Angeles on April 27 while Conley picked up a third-round TKO of Donnie Tice Jr. at BFKC 63 in Sturgis, South Dakota, on Aug. 3.

Light heavyweights Vidal (0-1) and Kevin Sims (debut) open the night, followed by middleweights Steven Sainsbury (debut) and Paulo Machado (debut). Flyweights are next with Mike Hansen (1-0) facing Dominick Carey (1-0) before Vincent Familari (1-0) squares off with Michael Manno (1-2) in a middleweight bout.

Welterweights are on tap with Dan Godoy (0-1) facing Ryan Petersen (1-0), followed by middleweights Rodney Thomas (0-1) and Don Mohammed (0-2). The final fight on the undercard pits Chase Gormley (debut) against Tylor Sijohn (debut) in a heavyweight bout.
