ACC Tournament play continues on Wednesday night with a game between Virginia and Boston College in college baseball action.

Only eight teams remain in the ACC Tournament after the first round of games on Tuesday and the 14th-seeded Boston College Eagles are still alive after defeating the 11th-seeded Notre Dame Fighting Irish in round one. The Eagles are now 27-28 on the season with the win and will look to add another one on Wednesday with an upset over the sixth-seeded Virginia Cavaliers to get to .500. Kyle Wolff powered the Eagles’ offense against the Fighting Irish, going 1-for-3 at the plate with a three-run shot to left center in the second. The remainder of the game was a back-and-forth battle that took the teams to the 10th inning where Patrick Roche hit an RBI single to bring the winning run home. Gavin Soares took the win on the mound after pitching the final 4.2 innings and striking out five batters.
