After the Blue Jays halted Boston’s seven-game winning streak in game one of the series, Toronto hosts the Red Sox at the Rogers Centre for game two of a three-game set on Tuesday night.
Although the Red Sox have climbed their way back into the top Wild Card spot in the American League, Boston is only 7-15 against the AL East this season. The Red Sox will send Michael Wacha to the hill against Toronto’s Ross Stripling, with the Blue Jays a half-game back of Boston for the top Wild Card spot.

In game one, Toronto knocked around Red Sox starter Connor Seabold in his first start of the season after getting the call up from AAA Worcester for a spot start. On the other side, Blue Jays starter Kevin Gausman struck out ten batters in a dominant performance.
At the plate, Toronto hammered three home runs off the bats of George Springer, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., and Matt Chapman. With an all-around effort, the Blue Jays took game one 7-2.
