After a weeklong delay, lightweights Chris Colbert and Omar Salcido headline a 5-fight card in Plant City, Florida, on Wednesday.

Originally scheduled for Oct. 9, a five-fight card headlined by lightweights Chris Colbert (17-2-0, 6 KOs) and Omar Salcido (19-1, 13 KOs) is set for Wednesday night at the ProBox TV Events Center in Plant City, Florida. Colbert, a 28-year-old from Brooklyn, is coming off a knockout loss to Jose Valenzuela on Dec. 16 in Minneapolis, when he was stopped in the sixth round. He’s lost two of his last three fights. Salcido, 24, from Mexico, bounced back with an eight round unanimous decision over Luis Coria in Houston on Dec. 1 after losing a 10-round unanimous decision to Jose Nunez two months earlier. The Colbert-Salcido bout is set for 10 rounds.

Immediately before the main event, unbeaten super featherweight Tsenbaatar Erdenebat (10-0-0, 5 KOs) takes on Frency Fortunato (15-1-0, 11 KOs) in a scheduled 10-rounder. On May 8 in Plant City, Erdenebat stopped Alberto Mercado in the third round via TKO after opening a severe cut with a punch. Fortunato has won five straight fights, knocking out Keine Montenegro in the third round of a scheduled 10-round fight on Feb. 10, 2023, in Sosua, Dominican Republic.

The card opens with super lightweights Roberto Kevin Escobar (6-3-1, 4 KOs) facing Javaughn Dula, making his professional debut, in a bout scheduled for six rounds. Escobar lost a six-round split decision in Plant City on July 31 to Terrence Williams.

Najee Lopez (11-0-0, 8 KOs) battles Ismael Ocles (15-16-2, 3 KOs) in a light heavyweight bout scheduled for eight rounds. Lopez took an eight-round unanimous decision from Steven Sumpter in Plant City on July 10 while Ocles stopped a two-fight skid with a unanimous decision over Joseph Perea on June 8 in Quito, Ecuador.

David Navarro (6-1-0, 3 KOs) then takes on Mykell Gamble (7-0-0, 4 KOs) in a featherweight fight scheduled for eight rounds. Navarro has won four straight fights, including a six-round unanimous decision over D’Angelo Fuentes on Aug. 11, 2023, in Atlanta. Gamble comes off a six-round unanimous decision in Plant City on Jan. 31 over Damian Alcala.
