Nick Hardy and Davis Riley will be returning champions as the Zurich Classic of New Orleans tees off in round one on Thursday.
The Zurich Classic of New Orleans is the next tournament up on the PGA Tour that is coming from the RBC Heritage Tournament last weekend. This tournament is held at the TPC Louisiana and will feature two-man team formats that were first established in 2016. Nick Hardy and Davis Riley were the pair to win the tournament in 2023 with a 258 score, and they came after Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay in 2022 with a score of 259. Hardy and Davis will be paired back again this year come Thursday, looking to repeat their championship performance just a year ago. Schauffele and Cantlay will also be back together in this tournament. Rory McIlroy, the No. 2 golfer on the World Golf Rankings, will pair with Shane Lowry and Will Zalatoris and Sahith Theegala will be another noteworthy group heading into the first round.

The tournament will not feature the No. 1 golfer in the world, Scottie Scheffler, who is coming off of two straight PGA Tour wins at the Masters and the RBC Heritage Open. It will also not include Wyndham Clark, Max Homa, Ludvig Alberg, and Viktor Hovland this year.
The first tee opened up today with the pairs of Adam Long and Vince Whaley, with Kevin Tway and Kelly Kraft. The 10th tee opened with Kevin Chappell paired with Jason Dufner and Davis Thompson with Andrew Novak both at 8:00 a.m. ET. The round will continue streaming on this network today.
