After having a long winning streak snapped, the Atlanta Braves return to the field on Monday to take on the Miami Marlins.
In a National League East matchup on Monday, the Atlanta Braves (14-6) host the Miami Marlins (6-17) at Truist Park. It’s the second series of the year between these divisional opponents, after they met two weeks ago in Miami. The Braves won two of those games, by scores of 8-1 and 9-7. In the middle game, the Marlins picked up a 5-1 victory. That win in the series finale kicked off a six-game winning streak for the Braves. They ran that streak up through Sunday, when they fell 6-4 to the Texas Rangers. As they take the field on Monday against the Marlins, they’ll be trying to get a new streak started.

Meanwhile, the Marlins are 3-4 since that first series against the Braves. Over the weekend they visited the Chicago Cubs for a four-game series, and split those games with two wins and two losses.
Last year the Braves won nine of the 13 head-to-head matchups. That includes a 6-1 record at home against the Marlins.
