It’s the final contest of a four-game series in Detroit as the Detroit Tigers face the Texas Rangers on Thursday.
For the fourth and final time this week, the Detroit Tigers will host the Texas Rangers this afternoon at Comerica Park. To this point in the series, Texas has won two of the three contests, meaning Detroit will still have a chance to split the four-game stint today. Despite being just 10-9 on the season, the Rangers are still holding the top spot in the American League West. Injuries have held this team back, but there’s no doubt the talent to repeat as champions is there. The Tigers interestingly enough have a better record than the Rangers, sitting at 10-8 so far this season. Even then, Detroit is third in the AL Central to this point with how competitive the division has been early on.
