The East Division leading Alouettes aim for their sixth straight win as they host the BC Lions in CFL action.
With a 6-6 record, the BC Lions are tied atop the Canadian Football League’s West Division and tonight head east to in search of their third road win of the season facing the East Division leading Montreal Alouettes in a Friday night showcase against the defending Grey Cup Champions as William Stanback makes his first visit to Quebec since signing with BC in the offseason. Stanback, who spent five seasons at running back with the Alouettes, is Montreal’s fourth all-time leading rusher and in his first season with BC has posted 481 yards from scrimmage including 14 runs of ten or more yards to pace the Lions offensive attack.

Montreal has won five games in a row since suffering their lone loss of the 2024 season at Toronto in mid-July. The Alouettes are undefeated in five home games this season and come into this game off a bye week and has won each of its previous five games when coming off a week’s rest.
BC snapped its five-game losing streak last week with a win over Ottawa jumping after out to a 31-6 halftime lead, and tonight will play their league-high eighth road game where they are 2-5 away from home this season.
The Lions have dominated this series of late winning four of the last five meetings and six of the last eight games against Montreal including a 34-25 win last September as BC scored 10 or more points in three of the four quarters.
Montreal wide receiver Charleston Rambo has posted 399 yards on 20 catches with three touchdowns in his last four games.
