On Saturday night, the Ottawa Redblacks take on the Toronto Argonauts in East Division action in the Canadian Football League.

In the first game of a Canadian Football League double-header on Saturday, the Toronto Argonauts (2-6) host the Ottawa Redblacks (2-6) in East Division action at BMO field. This is the second meeting of the year between these divisional opponents. The first came back in Week 4, at Ottawa. The Argos won that game 29-16, as quarterback Nick Arbuckle threw for 269 yards and a touchdown. Toronto charged out to an 18-0 lead early in that game, and will look for another hot start in this rematch.

Ottawa comes into this game off of a win. That loss to the Argos in Week 4 was the first game of a four-game losing streak, before the Redblacks’ bye two weeks ago. They returned from the week off last week and picked up a convincing 31-11 win over the Calgary Stampeders at home.

Toronto has played a home-and-home with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers over the last two weeks, in rematches of last year’s Grey Cup. The home team won both games, with the Argos picking up a 31-17 win two weeks ago before losing 40-31 last week.
