BYU and Loyola Marymount play in the second first-round game of the WCC baseball tournament on Wednesday.
BYU and Loyola Marymount square off on Wednesday for the fourth straight game. The two teams wrapped up the regular season with a three-game series that BYU took 2-1.

The Cougars won the first game 4-3 in 10 innings. The Lions took an early 2-0 lead, but the Cougars would come back to take the lead in the bottom of the fifth. LMU would tie it back up at three in the sixth only to lose in extras.
Game two wasn’t as exciting as BYU broke open the game with a six-run fifth inning, leading to a 9-3 win.
The Lions finally got in the win column in the finale when they plated 17 runs in a 10-run victory that helped them finish over .500 at 14-13 in the WCC.
It was a good series which should be followed up by a tremendous first-round game between the two teams on Wednesday.
The loser will head home, while the winner will take on either No. 1 Gonzaga or No. 2 Portland in the next round.
