Dick Howser Stadium is set to host the exciting matchup between Florida State and Bethune-Cookman on Friday in the opening day of the Tallahassee Regional to kick off the NCAA Championships. The Seminoles earned a postseason berth for the 61st time in program history and will host an NCAA Regional for the 37th time. FSU is 207-134 all-time in NCAA play, including 155-63 in the Regional round, 20-23 in Super Regionals and 32-48 in the College World Series. The team’s first NCAA berth came in 1956, the program’s eighth year, and its most recent was last season, which culminated in a national semifinal appearance.
