Kyle Wolff and No. 24 seed Boston College will take the field in the ACC Quarterfinals against Luke Stevenson and No. 3 seed UNC on Friday night.

The No. 14-seeded Boston College will take on the No. 3-seeded North Carolina in the quarterfinals of the Atlantic Coast Conference baseball tournament on Friday evening at Truist Field in Charlotte, North Carolina. The No. 14-seeded Eagles are making a Cinderella run after two improbable wins earlier this week to advance to the quarterfinals. They finished 28-28 overall this season and 11-19 against teams in the ACC, opening up the tournament against No. 11-seeded Notre Dame. They won that game 5-4 on the back of a win from A.J. Colarusso.

Kyle Wolff had a home run and three RBIs in the win as well. They continued that dominant streak into the second round with a 12-8 win over the No. 6-seeded Virginia. Kyle Kipp picked up the win with one strikeout and no conceded runs over three innings. Jack Toomey led the offense with three RBIs in the second-round win.

The No. 3-seeded Tar Heels will enter the tournament in the quarterfinals after earning a top-four seed. They were one win away last weekend from securing the top overall seed. However, they finished their season with an 18-11 record against teams in the conference and a 39-12 record overall, the No. 3-ranked team nationally. They finished off their regular season, winning two of three games against Florida State, another top-five ranked team.

Jake Knapp has been the best player on the mound in the conference this season, winning ACC Pitcher of the Year. He was undefeated over the regular season at 11-0 with a 2.14 ERA, the lowest among any power-four conference pitchers. At the plate, Luke Stevenson had the best regular season. He finished with 16 home runs and 47 RBIs, despite batting just .271.
