The Commodores lost 6-4 to Tennessee last weekend in the SEC Tournament, snapping a four-game win streak for the team. The team comes into this game with a 38-21 record on the season.

Coastal Carolina comes into this game with a 34-23 record on the year but has lost its last two games. In the Sun Belt Baseball Championship last weekend, Coastal Carolina beat Georgia State 5-1 in the opening game but then lost to Southern Miss and Appalachian State in the next two contests. Still, the team’s overall track record earned it a playoff spot.
