Florida State looks to snap a two-game losing streak when they visit rival Florida on Tuesday night

The Florida State Seminoles battle the Florida Gators on Tuesday night in a non-conference baseball matchup. The Seminoles come into Tuesday on a two-game losing streak and looking to get back in the win column. The Seminoles had a tough weekend as they lost a series to Wake Forest in which they lost the last two games by a combined 29-2 score. The consecutive losses dropped them to 25-6 overall and 8-4 in the ACC. They had won four in a row and six of seven before the two-game losing streak. Tuesday they will look to get back in the win column against the rival Gators. It is the third and final meeting between the rivals and will be the rubber match. The Gators won the first game back on Mar. 11 by a score of 7-2, but the Seminoles struck back two weeks later with an 8-4 win.

The Gators come into Tuesday on a three-game losing streak after getting swept by Vanderbilt over the weekend.

The three straight losses have dropped them to 20-14 on the season, but they are just 1-11 in the SEC.

They have played great outside of conference play, but have struggled agianst the loaded SEC.

Tuesday’s game is the fifth of an eight-game home stand that has seen them go 1-3 in the first four. They will wrap up their home stand with a three-game series with Missouri starting on Thursday.
