The No. 4-ranked college baseball team in the country, Florida State, will take the field again in Louisville, Kentucky, at Jim Patterson Stadium against the No. 19-ranked Louisville for the last game of this three-game series. The Seminoles are 31-8 overall this season and took the first game of the series 10-2. Jamie Arnold picked up his fifth win of the season after pitching 7.2 innings with 11 strikeouts. Florida State was hitting as five players had home runs in the win, including Myles Bailey and Drew Faurot, who also had three RBIs each.

Alex Lodise, Cal Fisher, and Brody Delamielleure had the other three home runs for Florida State. Fisher had two RBIs while Delamielleure had one, as did Lodise. The Cardinals hit just one home run in that loss by Jake Munroe. Munroe and Lucas Moore were the only two RBIs as well. However, they bounced back in the second game.

They pulled away and won the second game 9-4, to improve to 29-13 overall this season and 11-9 against teams in the ACC. Jake Schweitzer picked up his third win of the season to stay undefeated. He threw 2.2 scoreless innings with a strikeout. Louisville had no home runs in the win, just a barrage of RBIs.

Munroe had two of them with Eddie King Jr. and Michael Lippe as well. Nate Earley joined in with one RBI, as did Kamau Neighbors and Moore. Florida State also didn’t homer in yesterday’s game; however, Lodise went 2-for-4 on the night with three RBIs and a run. Bailey had the only other RBI for the team. The series win will go to today’s winner.
