Oregon State and Florida State both look to punch their ticket to the College Baseball World Series on Sunday night.

The Oregon State Beavers and Florida State Seminoles battle in the third and final game of the best-of-three Super Regional on Sunday night. The Beavers had a chance to clinch their spot in the College Baseball World Series on Saturday night, but lost 3-1. The loss comes after they had an unbelievable comeback on Friday in the first game. The Beavers trailed 4-1 with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning of the first game, but they got a walk, two singles and a wild pitch to tie the game. They then scored in the bottom of the 10th to get the 5-4 win. They again struggled on offense on Saturday, as they managed just one run and will now have to win on Sunday night or their season will come to an end. Aiva Arquette, Wilson Weber, AJ Singer and Jacob Krieg all had two hits to pace the Beavers. In the second game on Saturday, they managed just six combined hits and their only run came in the first inning.

The Seminoles got a great pitching performance from ace Jamie Arnold on Saturday to keep their season alive.

Max Williams led the way on Saturday with two hits and an RBI. Gage Harrelson and Jaxson West also had an RBI to extend the Seminoles season.

The Seminoles made sure they didn’t give up their lead on Saturday after they broke the 1-1 tie with a run in the seventh and eighth.

The win by the Seminoles on Saturday sets up a winner-take-all game on Sunday. The winner will head to yet another CWS, where they will play the winner of the Louisville and Miami game earlier on Sunday.
