This is yet another road test for a Louisville team that has a significant difference in its home-road splits this year. The Cardinals are 22-10 at home this season, but just 4-6 on the road. On the other side Boston College has a reverse split. The Eagles are 6-12 at home, but 12-9 when they’ve played on the road in 2024.

This is a quick turnaround for Louisville, which is beginning a seven-game road trip. The Cardinals were at home on Tuesday, when they hosted Northern Kentucky. Louisville won that game 11-7. Freshman designated hitter Zion Rose led the way going 2-for-3 with two doubles and three RBIs.
Boston College comes into this one trying to snap a three-game losing streak. The Eagles lost the final two games of a three-game series to Virginia last weekend, then on Tuesday fell to the UMass Lowell Riverhawks.
Louisville leads the all-time series against Boston College 20-5. Last year, the Cardinals swept the Eagles 3-0.
