Oklahoma won its regional opener against Liberty in a lopsided 16-3 victory. Liberty got out to an early 3-0 lead in the first. It was all Sooners the rest of the way scoring all their runs unanswered. No. 2 seed Oklahoma had 17 hits, highlighted by a grand slam from third baseman Peyton Graham and four hits and four RBIs from outfielder John Spikerman. The Gators better come with their A-game on the mound tonight.
In its regional game against Central Michigan, Florida did just that, winning 7-3. Starter Brandon Sproat went seven strong innings, only giving up one run. The Gators scored four in the eighth to break the game open. It was a close 3-1 game up to that point, so they will need to score sooner against Oklahoma.
