Louisville has been sent to the losers bracket, while Oregon State remains in the winners. Kellan Oakes remained undefeated, picking up the win after pitching the ninth inning, when Oregon State took the lead. Dax Whitney started the game, going 5.1 innings with nine strikeouts and no earned runs. After Louisville tied the game at three in the top of the ninth inning, it was an RBI from Gavin Turley that won the game for OSU.

On the other side, the Chanticleers of Coastal Carolina pulled a good draw with unseeded Arizona, despite the Wildcats being winners of their last 10+ games. They won the first game of the season 7-4 after winning the Conway Regional and upsetting No. 4 seed Auburn in the Auburn Super Regional.

Riley Eikoff and Cameron Flukey each went four innings in the win and both gave up two earned runs. Eikoff had four strikeouts to Flukey’s three, before Dominick Carbone closed the game out. Blake Barthol can be credited with blowing the game open on a two-run RBI double to right center field that stretched the lead and eventually the win from 5-4 to 7-4.
