The American Athletic Conference baseball tournament is down to its final game on Sunday as Wichita State and Tulane meet to determine the champion. The Shockers are the No. 4 seed in this tournament while Tulane comes in as the No. 3 seed. Both teams began tournament play on Tuesday with wins, with Wichita State beating UAB 8-5 and Tulane beating FAU 14-2.

Then on Thursday, both teams were in action again with Wichita State taking down No. 1 seed East Carolina 14-4 while Tulane beat Charlotte 7-5.
Wichita State suffered its first loss of the tournament on Saturday morning, falling 5-4 to East Carolina, but the team got revenge later in the night with a 12-2 run-ruled victory. Tulane defeated FAU 13-1 on Saturday.
This is Wichita State’s first trip to the AAC championship game, while Tulane is vying to become the first team in conference history to win the conference title in consecutive years. The Green Wave went just 19-42 last season, but put up a huge effort in the conference tournament, beating ECU 8-6 in the championship game.
