UC Irvine and Oregon State meet in the NCAA Regional round of college baseball.
The NCAA baseball tournament regional round continues on Saturday. In Corvallis, the two winners from yesterday are set to meet in the second game of the regional for both teams. Oregon State defeated Tulane on Friday 10-4, overcoming an early 3-0 deficit and pulling ahead with a four-run fifth inning. Gavin Turley hit a grand slam in that inning to really blow the game open for the Beavers.

UC Irvine beat Nicholls State 13-12 in a real barn burner of a baseball game. UC Irvine trailed 12-11 entering the bottom of the ninth inning, with Caden Kendle driving in two runs in the inning to give his team the walk-off victory. Myles Smith had five RBIs on the day, all from a pair of home runs.
