Roch Cholowsky and No. 15-seed UCLA will take on Jonathan Hogart and Murray State in the College World Series on Saturday.

The No. 15-seeded UCLA will take on the Cinderella team, Murray State, in the third game of the College World Series at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Nebraska, on Saturday afternoon. The Bruins came all the way out of the Los Angeles Regional, which they hosted. As a top-16 team in the nation, they took down Fresno State, Arizona State, and UC Irvine to advance to the super regionals. As a team facing a non-seeded team, they also hosted the Los Angeles Super Regional against UTSA, who won the Austin Regional, beating No. 2-seeded Texas, Houston Christian, and Kansas State.

This series, which was a best-of-three, didn’t take three games as UCLA won it in two games. They won the first game, 5-2, followed by a 7-0 shutout win. The 47-16 team is led at the plate by Roch Cholowsky, a sophomore shortstop. He is batting .367 this season with a team-high 23 home runs and 73 RBIs for UCLA.

On the other side, the Racers haven’t hosted a game since the end of the regular season. They went on the road to the No. 10-seed Ole Miss in the Oxford Regional. They took down Western Kentucky, Georgia Tech, and Ole Miss in the regional to advance to the super regionals. They packed up and traveled to Durham, North Carolina, to take on Duke.

The Blue Devils took the first game of the series 7-4, and it looked over for Murray State. However, it dominated the second game 19-9 and won the rubber match by just one run, 5-4. Jonathan Hogart leads the 44-15 team this season. The senior center fielder is batting. 335 with 22 home runs and 65 RBIs.
