However, they almost stunned the world, barely losing to the country’s No. 1-ranked team Vanderbilt in the first game of the regional on Friday night.

Cody Bowker was credited with the loss, giving up two earned runs over 5.1 innings. Even the two runs that Vanderbilt scored in the game were off a wild pitch and a fielder’s choice. This team will need to pick it up mightily if it hopes not to go home today. The winner of this game will get a matchup with Louisville, later on Sunday.
