The team has lost two games in a row as Ole Miss secured the series victory on Saturday with a close 5-4 result. Auburn’s offensive efforts were led by Kaleb Freeman who brought in two runs in the first with a double down the left field line. John Armstrong was credited with the loss on the mound after pitching 3.2 innings and giving up one earned run while striking out six batters.
