Syracuse hosts Ohio State on Sunday afternoon in women’s college field hockey action. The Orange come into Sunday a perfect 2-0 on the season and look to beat a second straight Big Ten opponent. Last Sunday the Orange slipped by No. 16 Penn State 2-1. Willemijn Boogert opened the scoring 6:03 into the game and then Bo van Kempen added another goal at 50:25 of the game. The Nittany Lions did get one back just three minutes later, but the Orange held off the comeback to get their second straight win. Sunday will be another big test for the Orange as the Buckeyes come into the game ranked 14th in the country.

The Buckeyes also come into Sunday undefeated on the season as they have won their first three games easily.
They have outscored UAlbany, Bucknell and Colgate by a combined 15-2 score and they have won all of their games by at least three goals. Makenna Webster has been the leading scorer for the Buckeyes with four goals and Brenna Bough is right behind her with three goals.
The Buckeyes have been playing great to start the season and will be looking to pick up a big road win on Sunday afternoon to stay unbeaten.
