St. Cloud State has had a conference series each of the past two weekends. The Huskies haven’t lost in regulation at all in this stretch. In fact they’d won three in a row sweeping Miami (OH) three weekends ago and beating No. 8 Colorado College in the first of two games in Colorado Springs last weekend (they had a week off in between). In the second game last weekend, they fell to the Tigers 1-0 in overtime.
On the other side, Omaha picked up a sweep last weekend at home beating Miami (OH) by scores of 3-0 and 8-1. The weekend before that the Mavericks split a pair of games against Arizona State, with a 4-2 win and 3-2 loss.
Puck drop for Friday night’s game is set for 8:30 p.m. ET. Coverage of the game can be found on My Network TV (WFTCDT – Minneapolis, MN).
