Denver and Notre Dame meet in the semifinals of the NCAA Lacrosse Tournament
The semifinals of the men’s college lacrosse tournament will take place on Saturday, with 13-3 Denver taking on 14-1 Notre Dame in Philadelphia for a spot in the title match. Denver is coming off of a 10-8 win over Syracuse in the quarterfinals while Notre Dame defeated Georgetown 16-11 to advance to this contest. The winner will take on the winner of the Maryland/Virginia game, which will be played later in the day on Saturday.

In Denver’s win over Syracuse, four different Denver players had multiple goals, with Michael Lampert, JJ Sillstrop, Cody Malawsky and Ty Hussey each putting in a pair in the 10-8 victory.
In Michigan’s win over Georgetown, the No. 1 ranked Irish got five goals from Chris Kavanagh as well as three from Pat Kavanagh. Devon McLane added two, while the rest of the goals int he win each came from a different player. Chris Kavanagh led the team in assists with three.
