No. 2 seed Princeton faces off against No. 3 seed Harvard in the Ivy League Tournament.

With the Ivy League Tournament taking place on the top seeds home turf in Ithaca, New York, No. 2 seed Princeton squares off against No. 3 seed Harvard in the second semifinal on Friday. After ending the regular season on a seven-game winning streak, Princeton is the Ivy League Tournament’s number-two overall seed and the second-ranked team in the nation. The Tigers are 11-2 overall with a 5-1 conference record this season. Harvard, on the other hand, enters tournament play with a 10-3 overall record and a 4-2 conference mark as winners of five of their last six contests. Earlier this season, Princeton earned an 13-11 victory over Harvard at home.

Most recently, No. 2 seed Princeton ended the regular season with an 18-7 victory over conference rival Yale at home last weekend. Peter Buonanno led the way with four goals while Nate Kabiri had a three-point performance with two goals and an assist and Tucker Wade added two goals as well. 

As for Harvard, the 11th-ranked Crimson earned an 11-10 victory over Brown in their regular season finale in Providence last week. Jack Speidell scored the game-winning goal with under a minute remaining in the game, his lone goal of the contest. Logan Ip led the way with five goals. 

No. 2 seed Princeton faces off against No. 3 seed Harvard in the Ivy League Tournament semifinals on Friday night.
