After falling in the Big Ten Tournament semifinals, Johns Hopkins earned the No. 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament with an 11-4 overall record this season, including a win over Virginia earlier this season. However, the Blue Jays are 0-2 this season in neutral site games. Virginia, on the other hand, earned the sixth seed with an 11-5 overall record. Earlier this season, Johns Hopkins outlasted Virginia in a 16-14 victory on the road back in early March.
