In college lacrosse action, Maryland looks to reach its second-straight national championship game on Saturday.
The Terrapins advanced to the semifinals following a victory over two-time defending champ Virginia in the quarterfinals. Maryland will now face Princeton in the semifinals, which the Terps advanced to after defeating Yale in the previous round. The No. 1 ranked Terps are now 16-0 this season and will look to advance to a second-straight final in DI men’s college lacrosse action.

Maryland ended UVA’s reign as defending champions on Sunday with an 18-9 victory in the quarterfinal match. Before that, the Terps defeated Vermont in the first round of the NCAA tournament.
Meanwhile, Princeton faced fellow Ivy League school Yale on Saturday, winning 14-10 in the quarterfinals to advance. Princeton dominated Boston in the first round 12-5 before the win against Yale.
Maryland and Princeton faced each other earlier this season when the Terps came away with a 15-10 victory in College Park. The undefeated Terrapins will continue their dominant run in the NCAA tournament on Saturday in the DI men’s college lacrosse semifinals.
