No. 6 Ohio State faces off against rival Michigan in Ann Arbor on Saturday.

After suffering just their second loss of the season at home last week, sixth-ranked Ohio State faces off against rival No. 13 Michigan in Ann Arbor on Saturday afternoon. The Buckeyes had previously won 11-straight games to climb to the No. 4 spot in the polls, but fell at home last week to No. 3 Maryland, dropping two spots in the latest rankings. Ohio State is now 11-2 overall with a 3-1 conference record and a 4-0 road record this season. Michigan, on the other hand, won its last time out against No. 18 Rutgers. The Wolverines are 7-5 overall with a 3-1 conference record and a 4-2 home record. Michigan has won four-straight games over Ohio State, including a 15-9 win last season, but the Buckeyes hold a 11-6 advantage all-time.

Most recently, Ohio State couldn’t keep pace with third-ranked Maryland in a 13-8 loss to the Terps in Columbus last Saturday. Griffin Turner led the Buckeyes with a six-point performance on three goals and three assists, while Ed Shean and Dillon Magee each scored twice. 

As for Michigan, the Wolverines got a much-needed win over Rutgers by a final score of 8-6 in Piscatway last Sunday. Bo Lockwood and Ryan Cohen each finished the game with three points, with the two attackmen scoring a pair of goals and adding an assist.
