On Friday night, the team hosted Washington, playing to a 2-2 draw in the teams’ first meeting in Big Ten play. Quinton Elliot carried the team offensively, finishing with a brace to help the team add one point toward its total. Elliot found the back of the net just six minutes into the game to give the Hoosiers a 1-0 lead. The Huskies tied things up just a few minutes later, but Elliot once again came through and scored an unassisted goal in the 18th minute. Washington continued to put pressure on, but JT Harms held strong in net, making three saves until the Huskies broke through with the equalizer in the 80th minute. The Hoosiers put up an impressive 21 shots, but only five made it on frame in the tie.

Indiana and Kentucky have met 34 times in their series history and the Hoosiers have been dominant, winning 26 of those matches. Last year, the teams played to a 1-1 draw in Lexington.
