    No. 4 Ohio State will look to stay undefeated with a win over visiting Washington on Monday night.

    The Huskies will continue their midwest road trip on Monday night with a Big Ten matchup against No. 4 Ohio State in Columbus. The team brings an overall record of 4-2-5 into the game with a conference record of 1-1-3, putting them in a tie for fifth place in the Big Ten standings with Michigan. The team’s last two games have resulted in draws with a scoreless result against No. 8 Wisconsin and a 2-2 draw against Indiana on Friday night. Washington was trailing 2-1 with just nine minutes left to play when Richie Aman netted his second goal of the year with an assist from Charlie Kosakoff to even the score at two a side. Charlie Kosakoff was responsible for the other goal, also with an assist from Kosakoff. Jadon Bowton was peppered with shots from the Hoosiers, but was only required to make three saves to help his team earn one point toward its tally.

    The Buckeyes are currently in second place in the Big Ten with 10 points collected from a conference record of 3-0-1. Overall, the team has been impressive with an unbeaten 8-0-2 record on the year. On Friday, Ohio State traveled to Ann Arbor to take on Big Ten rival Michigan, playing to a high-scoring 6-3 victory on the road. Behind a brace from both Marko Borkovic and David Wrona, the Buckeyes were able to secure three points. Michael Adedokun also made his way onto the stat sheet with his fifth goal of the year and Luciana Pechota scored his fifth goal in the win, as well. Max Trejo played nearly 82 minutes in net, making three saves and allowing one goal, before RJ Stoller came in for relief, conceding two goals and making one save.

    Washington and Ohio State have played each other twice in program history with tonight’s game being the first Big Ten matchup between the two. The all-time series stands at 1-0-1 in the Huskies’ favor with the most recent meeting being a 1-1 draw last season.
