Arkansas, the No. 4 team in the tournament, will take on Missouri, the No. 10 team in the nation, in Game 7 of the SEC Softball Tournament on Thursday afternoon in Auburn, Alabama. The Razorbacks are 36-15 overall this season and also the No. 9 ranked team in the nation. They are also 14-10 against teams from the SEC this season. Surprisingly, they have lost three of their last six games including losing a three-game series to Ole Miss. They won two of three games against Georgia, Missouri, South Carolina, Alabama, and LSU leading into that Ole Miss series. Bri Ellis and Hannah Gammill have been dominating the batters’ box this season. Ellis, the team’s first baseman, is batting .329 with a .446 on-base percentage. She has a team-high 14 home runs with 47 RBIs and 22 strikeouts. She has 36 runs on 46 hits in 140 at-bats. Gammill is batting .219 with a .362 on-base percentage. She has 11 home runs with 35 RBIs including 25 runs on 28 hits in 128 at-bats.

The Tigers are the No. 10 ranked team in the nation, just one spot behind Arkansas on the national rankings. They are 41-14 overall this season and 13-11 against teams from the Southeastern Conference. They had to take down Ole Miss yesterday 3-1 in Game 3 of the tournament to advance to this round here today.
Kara Daly and Alex Honnold have been the most dominant on the team this season batting. Honnold is batting better at .359 with an on-base percentage of .434. Daly has the team-high with seven home runs, and Honnold has the high in RBIs with 33. She also has 42 runs on 61 hits in 170 at-bats.
