    Clemson will join Virginia on the road at Durham, North Carolina, for Game 4 of the ACC college softball tournament on Thursday afternoon. The Tigers are 33-16 overall this season and have a 15-9 record against Atlantic Coast Conference teams. Leading into this tournament game, they won two of three games against Louisville which was preceded by two of three games against Notre Dame. They did get swept by Duke in the middle of April as well which came after a sweep of Syracuse themselves. Second baseman Maddie Moore and center fielder McKenzie Clark have been dominant at the plate for Clemson this season. Moore is batting .362 with an on-base percentage of .480. She has a team-high nine home runs with 34 RBIs. She also has 36 runs on 50 hits in 138 at-bats. Clark has nine home runs as well with a team-high 37 RBIs. She has 47 runs on 55 hits in 154 at-bats while batting .357 with an on-base percentage of .461.

    The Cavaliers are 32-17 overall this season with a 15-11 record against teams in the same conference. They won two of three games against Georgia Tech in the team’s last series leading into the tournament. That came after they did the same to Duke and NC State in the two previous series in ACC play.

    Jade Hylton will be the player to watch for Virginia. The short stop is batting .342 this season with a .428 on-base percentage and a .677 slugging percentage. She has a team-high 12 home runs and 37 RBIs as well as 33 runs on 53 hits in 155 at-bats while striking out 26 strikeouts and 14 stolen bases.
