Florida State goes for its third straight win on Sunday afternoon when it takes on Virginia Tech in college softball.

The Florida State Seminoles look to finish off a three-game sweep of Virginia Tech when the two teams hit the field on Sunday afternoon. The Seminoles have played great in the first two games, as they have outscored the Hokies by a combined 21-4. They shutout the Hokies 8-0 on Saturday to clinch the series. They came to Virginia Tech fresh off a loss to Louisville last Sunday, but they got right back to their winning ways and it has helped them clinch the regular season ACC title. They now sit at 44-7 overall and 18-2 in the ACC. Their two losses in conference play have come at the hands of Virginia and Louisville, but they have been great overall. They lead second place Clemson by three games in the loss column and will earn the first seed for the ACC Tournament next week.
