Florida State battles Chattanooga in the first round of the NCAA Softball Regionals on Friday afternoon
Florida State looks to defend its home turf on Friday afternoon when it plays Chattanooga in the first round of the NCAA Regional. The Seminoles are hosting a regional after finishing this season 43-14 overall and 19-5 in the ACC. It was a great season for the Seminoles, but they fell to Duke in the ACC Tournament. The Seminoles came up short of the tournament title but still grabbed one of the top 16 seeds in the tournament. The Seminoles did lose three of their last four regular-season games and are trying to get back on track against Chattanooga on Friday afternoon.

The Macs, though, are looking to come to town and pick up a huge first-round upset on Friday afternoon.
The Mocs made the regional by winning the Southern Conference Championship over UNC Greensboro.
The Mocs had lost to them in the second game of the tournament but battled back to beat them twice to take home the conference title and earn the automatic berth to the NCAA Regionals.
The Mocs come into Friday 42-14 on the season and are playing great softball. They will still have to play their best game on Friday if they want to upset the Seminoles.
